About Us
The Automotive Training Board, NSW is an industry body, who's primary function is to provide information and advice on the training needs of the automotive industry.
The Board is comprised of the major associations (MTA, IAME, MVRIA, SSA, AAAA), the union (AMWU), a small automotive employer, a large automotive employer, a vehicle manufacturer and a training provider (TAFE).
The training needs of people involved in the sales of vehicles and associated parts and components, all types of repair both mechanical and body, the sales and repair of outdoor power equipment, bicycles and marine craft, the manufacture of vehicles and components, are all covered.
The Board provides advice on behalf of the industry to the government on future training needs and industry views on training policies.
ATB NSW also works to promote the best training content and delivery methods to the industry.
Advice is available to industry, Registered Training Organisations and New Apprenticeship Centres on training matters and National Training Packages.
